Site

A Site is a segment or partition of the Merlin Database housed on a specific Instance of Merlin.

A Business has its own Site on the Merlin Database. The data of one Site is only visible to the Users of that Site and not visible to the Users of another Site. So the Data of each Site is protected from the Users of another Site even though the Sites are all on one Instance of Merlin and in one single Merlin Database.

A Site can hold the records of many Business Entities or Companies as long as they are all related to and managed/administered in the same Business.
